An enduring impact

In October 2023, Chancellor Emeritus Arthur Irving (’52, ’03 HON) and his family visited the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre and Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens. He spoke with Irving Scholars and community members whose lives have been forever changed by his caring and generosity. Though he's no longer with us, his legacy continues to inspire and empower us to make a difference in the world.

President Dr. Jeff Hennessy (’99) shared his thoughts in a fitting tribute. Please take a moment to read about Arthur’s incredible connection to Acadia and share your memories.
