Burk, Beaton, Shannon inducted into Acadia Sports Hall of Fame
Acadia University celebrated the Acadia Sports Hall of Fame Induction ceremony on October 16, 2021 as part of Homecoming Weekend and welcomed football Axeman Bruce Beaton (’92, ’96), rugby Axewoman Andrea Burk (’06), and basketball Axeman Ed Shannon (’79) to the hall.

New Director of Athletics
Acadia University announced on Aug. 26, 2021 the hiring of Brian Finniss ('06) as the new Director of Athletics. Finniss played three seasons for the varsity men’s basketball team under then-Head Coach Dave Nutbrown.
